Boat owner and Marine PRO manager discussing vessel work

Buying · Selling · Repair documentation

Survey, Broker & Insurance Support

Buying, selling or arranging repairs often brings several people into the same conversation. Marine PRO handles the practical work: preparing the boat, coordinating access, estimating repairs and documenting what gets done.

Turn the findings into a clear plan for the boat.

What we can help with

Support before, during and after the inspection.

We work with owners and their chosen professionals, keeping the boat’s condition, the requested work and the relevant deadlines in view.

Checking vessel equipment at the helm

Purchase surveys & sea trials

Coordinate vessel access, haulout and captain support by arrangement. After the survey, we review reported findings and identify which repairs can be estimated and which need further diagnosis.

Care while the boat is listed

Keep up with washing, maintenance and known repairs while your broker markets the boat. Showing preparation, service records and sea-trial support can be arranged around the listing schedule.

Survey findings & repair lists

Turn individual findings into a practical scope, including parts, access, specialist involvement and testing. We help distinguish work needed now from improvements that can be planned later.

Insurance repair support

Condition photographs, repair estimates, yard arrangements and progress records for authorized work. Documentation helps the owner and adjuster understand the proposed repairs and their completion.

How we handle the work

Keep each finding connected to the work.

  1. Share the report and priorities

Send the survey, repair list or damage photographs, with the boat’s location and any transaction deadlines. Tell us who is involved and what you need from our team.

  2. Confirm the scope and contacts

We establish who authorizes the work, who receives updates and what access or inspection is needed. Any further diagnosis is agreed before it begins.

  3. Estimate and coordinate repairs

Your service writer brings parts, technicians, yard time and related work into the schedule. New findings and changes to cost or timing are discussed for approval.

  4. Document completion

Repair records, photographs and applicable testing show what was completed. Outstanding items and checks that could not be performed are identified clearly.

Planning your service

A useful estimate starts with the actual finding.

A survey may recommend further investigation without identifying the repair itself. We explain what can be priced from the report and what requires access, testing or disassembly before a reliable scope can be established.

Share closing, inspection or insurer deadlines early. We confirm the work and timing we can support, including parts availability and any specialist or yard arrangements.

Keep the boat cared for throughout

Recurring management can continue while repairs or a sale are underway. The same team can handle routine care, notice new concerns and prepare the boat for visits.

Marine PRO provides service and coordination. Your independent surveyor, broker, adjuster and insurer retain their respective roles; coverage and claim decisions remain with the insurer.
