Mechanical &
Engine Service

Whether routine maintenance is due or something isn’t running properly, Marine PRO coordinates the inspection, parts and repair. We work at your dock or through our service yard, with one service writer keeping the job moving and you informed.

Keep up with the service. Get to the cause of the problem.

What we work on

The engine and the systems around it.

Scheduled engine & generator service

Fluids, filters, belts, impellers and other service items, planned around the equipment, operating hours and maintenance history.

Cooling, fuel & exhaust

Investigation of overheating, restricted water flow, leaks and fuel-delivery problems, including the supporting systems around the engine.

Starting, charging & controls

Starting faults, charging problems, alarms, sensors, throttle and shift concerns. We check the system behind the symptom before recommending parts.

Drives & running gear

Service and repair involving drives, shafts, propellers and related components, with haulout and specialist support coordinated when needed.

From service history to the final check

A clear plan for the work.

  1. Start with the equipment

Send the make, model, serial number and hours, along with recent service records. For a problem, describe when it happens, any alarms and what has already been checked.

  2. Establish what’s needed

We review maintenance due or investigate the fault. Diagnostic time is billable; disassembly or further testing may be needed before the repair can be estimated.

  3. Approve the work

Your service writer explains the findings, estimate and parts requirements. We arrange approved work and discuss additional findings before expanding the scope.

  4. Test and record

We check the work under the conditions it requires. Some faults need operation under load or a sea trial. The record identifies what was completed, what was tested and any follow-up still needed.

The right access for the job

Dockside service.
Yard support when needed.

Many maintenance visits and repairs can be handled where the boat is kept. Work that needs haulout, lifting equipment or greater access moves through our service operation at Anna Maria Island Marina.

Your equipment comes first

We confirm compatibility, tools and any specialist involvement for the particular engine or drive. Manufacturer-authorized work and warranty eligibility are confirmed for each job.

Considering a repower?

If engine replacement is part of your plans, we can discuss the installation, rigging and related work as a separate project.
