Electronics &
Installations

From a charging problem to a new helm display, Marine PRO handles electrical troubleshooting, repairs and equipment installations. We check the power, wiring and connections behind the equipment so the work fits the boat as a whole.

Solve the fault. Plan the upgrade.

What we can help with

From the battery bank to the helm.

Tell us what isn’t working or what you want the boat to do better. We’ll help define the repair or installation and the supporting work it needs.

Power & charging

Batteries, chargers, inverters, shore power, distribution panels, breakers and lighting. We assess the supply and connections as well as the equipment itself.

Navigation & communication

Displays, radar, sonar, autopilot, VHF, AIS and sensors, with compatibility checked before equipment is selected and installed.

Connectivity & entertainment

Onboard Wi-Fi, cellular, Starlink, cameras, monitoring and audio systems, planned around how you use the boat.

Electrical fault finding

Intermittent failures, voltage drop, missing data and problems following earlier installations. We trace the fault before recommending a replacement.

Before you buy the equipment

Plan what goes
behind the screen.

A replacement display may also need changes to power, sensors, cabling or mounting. We review the existing setup and identify what can stay, what needs updating and how the new equipment will connect.

For a larger upgrade, we plan the equipment and installation together. Your estimate covers the agreed scope, including the supporting work needed to fit and configure it.

Assessment, installation and setup

Know what’s changing and why.

  1. Review the boat

We identify the equipment, available power, wiring routes and network connections. For a fault, tell us when it occurs and whether anything changed recently.

  2. Define the work

We explain the findings or proposed installation and provide an estimate once the scope is clear. Diagnostic time is billable; some problems need further testing before a repair can be priced.

  3. Install and configure

We complete the approved work, label connections and configure the equipment. Additional findings or changes to the installation are discussed before the scope expands.

  4. Check and explain

We check operation and walk you through the new setup. Underway testing is arranged where required, and any remaining checks or follow-up are identified in the service record.

Tell us the goal.

Send photographs of the helm or affected equipment, model numbers and a description of the problem or upgrade. Include the boat’s location and any dates you’re working toward.

At the dock or in the yard

Many electrical repairs and installations can be handled where the boat is kept. We confirm access and arrange yard work when the installation needs it.

Mobile service

Keep the work in view

Your service writer coordinates the job. Use the Marine PRO Management App to review estimates, approve work, message the team and refer back to service records.
