Fiberglass, Gelcoat & Paint

A dockside scrape and a crack caused by movement can look similar in a photograph but need very different repairs. Marine PRO starts with the condition beneath the mark, then coordinates the repair and the finish together.

Repair the damage. Restore the shape and finish.

What we can help with

Understand the damage before choosing the repair.

We assess the affected area, surrounding material and previous work so the estimate addresses more than what is visible at first glance.

Fiberglass & structural concerns

Assessment of laminate, core, moisture and prior repairs, with specialist repair coordination where needed.

Fairing & gelcoat finish

Restoring contours, matching color, blending and polishing, with expectations discussed against the surrounding finish.

Paint & broader restoration

Painted-surface repairs and larger paint projects by arrangement, with compatible materials, preparation and related hardware work planned together.

How we handle the work

A sound repair and a considered finish.

  1. Inspect the area

We review visible damage, access, nearby fittings and any known impact or repair history. Photos help prepare for the inspection.

  2. Define what can be estimated

Visible repairs are separated from work that depends on opening, stripping or further assessment. The finish objective is agreed at the same time.

  3. Prepare and repair

Access, materials, cure time and reinstallation are coordinated. If more damage is found, we explain it and seek approval for the changed scope.

  4. Review the finished work

The repaired area, contour and finish are checked, along with affected hardware and sealing. Any remaining limitations are identified at handoff.

Planning your service

Match the boat, not just a color sample.

Age, sun exposure and prior repairs affect color, gloss and texture. A localized blend and a broader refinish can produce different results; we explain those choices before the work begins.

Damaged fittings, leaks or supporting material may also need attention. Addressing them alongside the cosmetic repair helps avoid repeating the job.

When yard access makes sense

Structural access, extensive preparation and larger coating work may require haulout and staging.
